Kiehl's products are formulated to be non-comodegenic (i.e. formulated not to clog pores). You may also wish to start with a single pump of it for a week first, before getting used to the recommended two pumps for day and night. And indeed we encourage you to gently massage the treatment into skin in an upward and outward motion, and allow 15 seconds for the product to fully settle into the skin first, before applying the next product.
